refs

[edit]

More references required. Much of article is uncited or plagiarized.

There are plenty of references, but they are all from a single source, so this article only gives the status in 2006. A general human rights article would discuss the history as well. Sharkey (talk) 03:16, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Organizations in support

[edit]

The article needs a new section for organizations that have fought in support of human rights in Chile. This started (to my knowledge) during the Pinochet regime, with the Comité Pro Paz in 1973, followed up by the Vicariate of Solidarity in January 1976 after the earlier one was disbanded at the behest of the government. In Dec. 1978, the Chilean Human Rights Commission was established, and worked closely with the Vicariate. Mathglot (talk) 07:36, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Made a start on this, but only has 3 organizations currently, from the early 70s, and there were already 15 before Pinochet was out. Mathglot (talk) 09:26, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
